Vision and Mission

The California State Preschool Program is based on the following philosophy:

 

A CHILD'S YEARS, AGES 0-5, ARE THE MOST CRITICAL IN THEIR DEVELOPMENT AND PROVIDE THE FOUNDATION FOR THEIR SUCCESS ALL THROUGH THEIR LIVES. THIS MAKES PARENTS THEIR CHILD'S FIRST AND MOST INFLUENTIAL TEACHERS.

 

When children enter preschool, parents and teachers team up to help make sure that all children learn and develop to reach the child’s full potential. Through parent education meetings, parent/teacher conferences, our open-door policy, parent volunteers and keeping open lines of communication, we, as teachers and parents can guide children on the path to success.
